Molly Tarlov (born November 11, 1981) is an American actress who is most famous from 2011 on for her character in the role of Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama series Awkward. Tarlov was the eldest of two girls, was raised and born in Manhattan, New York. When she was a ten-year-old Tarlov was a character in her role as Mrs. Peterson as part of the Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was a hugely praised performance by an audience of seven graders. As she grew older she was a summer student at the Interlochen Center for the Arts as well as in Paris learning with NYU's Tisch. Bennington College granted her a bachelor's degree in theater. The Atlantic Theater Company was another school she attended. Molly also integrated writing into her performance at the LAByrinth Theatre master course. Molly swapped her black jacket for a sunglasses prior to leaving for Los Angeles. It wasn't long before she landed a 3-word role on iCarly and was able to draw the attention from her family members. In the years since, she's made several TV appearances. In addition, she created the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly is a basketball athlete who believes she's much better than she is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
