In 2003 she portrayed Marina Cooper on the Guiding Light. The role won her an award at the Soap Opera Digest Awards in 2003 for Best newcomer. Dollar appeared in ABC's Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 between 2007 and the year 2008. In 2012, she was in the NBC pilot Happy Valley which was not taken up.
